BEYOND THE HORIZON...An attempt at self discovery

Hi, I am Vidya, a very simple South Indian woman as the people outside Southern India recognize and a Kannadiga as the people of South India recognize :) Family makes most of my world...the rest is made by friends and work. Talking of work, I have been a humble software professional for a big part of my career, later quit and volunteered to teach in an NGO for some time and now I am a student (again) pursuing a Master's degree in Kannada. 

As a passion, I read leisurely, blog at times on whatever comes to my mind (scrap at times), tend to my small balcony garden, sleep whenever I want, and just sit by the window for hours to watch the sparrows, pigeons and other birds; rains in the rainy season (I love the rains of Mumbai very much) thanks to the locality I live in Mumbai which gives me the opportunity to see quite some greenery and birds in spite of tiny homes to live by!
